We are starting the evaluation process for Ada compilers for 1750A. We would like to find some people to talk to who have experience with any of the VAX VMS hosted compilation systems. If anyone has a few minutes to spend answering some subjective questions (of the form "How easy is to configure the runtime environment?") please contact me. Roger Racine C.S. Does anyone have any recent knowledge or hearsay about the relative merits of VAX hosted 1750A Ada compilers from InterACT, SD-SCICON, Tartan, Telesoft, TLD, or _especially_ Verdix? -- or any vendor I missed? I'm interested in the development environment (edit/compile/link/run-debug...), defficiencies/bugs, compile speed, (multi-processor?) runtime speed, debugger features, CASE interface, documentation quality, etc. Reply directly to me. If anyone else is interested I'll forward or post.
