A question for those who have seen BttF many, many times: When Marty returns to the present, has the sign at the shopping mall changed? At the beginning of the film, it was the "Twin Pines Mall", but I thought I saw only only pine tree on the sign in the modified present of the end of the film. Any answers would be welcome (but not very important to be perfectly honest)!

Unfortunately, he runs over one of the pine trees with the DeLorean. When he returns to the present, the name of the shopping mall has been changed to the "LONE PINE MALL" with the picture of one tree. -- "Better get used to these bars, kid." Yes, the sign changes. If you remenber when he drives the "car" out of the barn and out onto the road he runs over a Pine Tree that was part of the " farm.win Pines". When he gets back to the future, the sign changes from "Twin Pines Mall" to "Lone Pine Mall".

Yes, the Mall had changed to the "Lone Pine Mall" at the end of the film, because Marty ran over one of the two pine trees when he drove out of the "Twin Pines Ranch" as the farmer shot at him. One pine tree, and the mall is "Lone Pine Mall", because Marty ran over one of the pine trees in the De Lorean in the dusk. Just wanted to put in my trivial cents for once. Tired of all those crucial discussions. I only saw BttF once, but I had a consultant with me. dsf (Tiriel)
