Meridian will honor a student price of $200. for the Mac compiler through the end of November. This includes a bundled-in MPW, which is inextricably tied to the Ada system. My impression is that Meridian is considering a more permanent arrangement, with a Mac AdaZ similarly priced. Call Claudia Coleman of Meridian (she is their academic sales mgr.) at 1-800-221-2522. Now is a good time to encourage Meridian to do right by Mac users and Mac-oriented schools. Their ears and minds are open. By the way - I concur with the recent mini-review of AdaZ. I got my DOS version last week, and it seems a VERY nice integrated software package for Ada. The compiler is good ol' Meridian stuff; the environment is Turbo-like, and all the right libraries come along. And the $149. educational price is what we've all been waiting for. Nice job, Meridian!
