Several people have requested more specific citations to the Public Law in which Ada is mandated. Thanks to my wife, a legislative attorney with the General Counsel, U.S. Dept. of Education, I have more info than you'll probably need or want. But here goes: - the DoD Appropriations Bill, signed by Bush 11/5/90, is now called Public Law PL 101-511, statutory citation 104 Stat 1856. - if you are interested in receiving a copy, you can send $1.75 to Director Office of the Federal Register Wasington, DC 20408 - you can call this office at 202-523-5230. - if you have access to the Federal Register (a good law office would, or a university law library), there is a list in the Dec. 10 issue, vol. 55 #237, of ALL Public Laws passed by the second session of the 101st Congress, starting on p. 50802.
