[comp.lang.ada] DOD-STD-2167A on disk

DoD Contractors & software developers:

Back in December, mbates@tusun2.mcs.utulsa.edu asked if anyone knew of
DOD-STD-2167A in electronic form. Nice guy that I was, I asked around
Compu$erve, AppleLink, and even made a few calls around the federal gov't to
see if there was indeed some such beast... and alas, I found none, though it
seemed like an idea worth developing.

At long last, I now have obtained copies of DOD-STD-2167A and all 18 associated
Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), and they are now available to you in in
electronic form (5.25" and 3.5" PC disks). In addition, I will be providing
boiler-plate files for documents like the Software Development Plan, etc., as
laid out in the DIDs. More related items are planned, including a glossary of
software-related terms and acronyms culled from Mil-specs, etc.

As a starving consultant, I can't provide these items for free, but I think the
price is modest (especially compared to what DoD contractors are paying for
everything else these days). At the risk of being overtly commercial... if you
have any interest, please EMail an address (InterNet, Compu$erve, AppleLink,
FAX, or ground-mail) for pricing or other information. I'd also appreciate any
referrals you can provide. Thanks...
