[comp.lang.ada] Resource Books on Ada, e.g., Ada : Sources & Resources

karl@grebyn.com (Karl A. Nyberg) (03/30/91)

Well, I suppose if Judy Bamberger (of all people) doesn't think any more
highly than to not post commercial advertisements (e.g., concerning the 1991
edition of the ``Ada Yearbook'') to info-ada, then I suppose it's only
appropriate that I should mention the Third Annual Edition (1991) of ``Ada :
Sources & Resources'' here as well. Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't
mention the Deer Isle Research Groups ``Ada Market Reference: A Guide to the
Ada Industry'' as well, since I think that they have no net access.
(Contact me for information on Ada : Sources & Resources, the others are my
competition. :-))

For Deer Isle, contact:

Then there's the market studies by Base32, FAR, TRG, etc. but those are
getting afar of the ``Where do you go to get basic information on Ada''
publications.

Of course, everybody knows to call the Ada IC for their free publications,
and the compiler vendors for information on their third party relationships
with database vendors, graphics suppliers, etc. (You DO call your compiler
vendor for this don't you?)

p.s. There's also ``Resources in Ada'' by ACM. It contains titles, reviews
and cross-references from all the ACM Ada (and a few other) publications. I
don't consider it competition - it's a different market.
