I would like to know if it is possible to give ADA a data file name on the command line for use in the program. I have to write a program for class that will count the number of characters in a file, and I want to make it as generic as possible. Thank You!

I have played around with command line parameters in Ada a little, and there does not seem to be a standard technique for reading them. Several pieces of source code seem to be floating around, and two examples came with the Meridian Adavantage compiler I have. Perhaps a standard should be considered for Ada9x? -- Ralph. N6BNO.
