I have been ignoring all the messages about Back To The Future on this newsgroup because I knew I would see it someday. I just did, and came back to read all the postings. I can't believe how many people would carp about a movie just because the time travel theory in it doesn't jibe with THEIR idea of how time travel works. It's only a movie, remember? We're talking about a guy who travels through time in a plutonium-powered DeLorean, right? Anybody who could do that could probably keep relative motion in mind, OK? This movie was funny, entertaining, and good precisely BECAUSE of the little details that were done right. That's what makes a good production! Especially good was Christoper Lloyd's character: sort of a combination of Emilio Lizardo (from Buckaroo Banzai) and the Gyrocopter Pilot (from The Road Warrior). I recommend it highly to all except people who take things too seriously, and to those I recommend building their own time machine and going far away. THEN tell us it was wrong. -- Dave Fiedler {harpo, astrovax, whuxcc, clyde}!infopro!dave People Phone: (201) 989-0570 USMail: InfoPro Systems, 3108 Route 10, Denville, NJ 07834 Flight Instructor: "What would you do if I jumped out right now?"
