I find myself in need of an "execution engine" (i.e. some relatively powerful interpretive langauge) an have decided that forth is probably the lowest overhead / easiest to implement system available. I've got a copy of the "C coded forth interpreter" (by Allan Pratt), which works, but frankly makes me heave. I'm looking around for something a little cleaner, a lot faster, and more portable. Since the code I'm working on is PD, the interpreter must also be PD. Does anyone have any pointers they could send me? Code would be even better! Thanks.
