[comp.lang.forth] Forth83 Sources

plai@ms.uky.edu (Paul Chun Ko Lai) (03/11/88)

Recently, about a week ago, someone posted an arpanet address from which to
get sources to a version of Forth83. I wrote the info. down, but can't seem
to find the piece of paper again. Also, the original article is gone from
our news (due to our limited space), so backtracking is impossible. If anyone
remembers the address, please send it via email.

Thanks in advance.

Paul

You can try it from this ...

"If you have access to ftp, you can get F83 via anonymous ftp to
mahendo.jpl.nasa.gov (Internet number 128.149.16.2). cd to pub, set
binary transfer mode and get f83.tar.Z. This is a compressed, tar
file so you will need compress (from the comp.sources.unix archives)."

Or, from the simtel20 archives (26.0.0.74), which has unix, msdos and cpm
versions, I believe.

pd2:<unix-c.languages>

pd1:<msdos>

pd1:<cpm>

appear to be the relevant directories (TOP-20 system).
