UMFORTH@WEIZMANN.BITNET (Tamir Weiner) (05/13/88)
To any or all Figil readers: I'm looking for a public domain implementation of Forth 83 for the IB(MS-DOS) clone family. Doesn't have to be a super tight one as I've got 640 K of memory. I'd like to either get it downloaded across the net, or work out an arrangement for someone to send me an MS-DOS disk with a Forth System oit. I'd also welcome reccommendations for non standard systems that support DOS, strings, floating-point, graphics, etc. I don't know what is good for the IBM-PC-XT clone family and have recently switched computer systems at home. Speaking of which I have an original set of disks and manuals for Micro-Motion's Forth 79 with floating point, strings, and graphics extensions part of the package (plus original manual of course). I no longer need this system. It is a pretty reasonable system to learn forth on, or to try out all sorts of stuff and it works well on Apple II family systems. If someone is interested in purchase or trade, drop me E-mail to UMFORTH@WEIZMANN amd we will see what can be worked out. May the Forth be with you. Tamir Weiner
