The two I am most intersted in are VM/CMS versions and VAX/VMS. If there is an implementation for MVS I'd be interested in hearing about that as well. If these are not available can anyone tell me where to get the assembly language code for an MS-DOS based Forth? I don't have the time to upload the source code, but if you send me some disks, I'll copy it for you. My address is: Walt Pohl Haverford College Haverford PA 19041 Include a self addressed, stamped envelope, with enough postage. An alternative is to contact the Forth Interest Group. They have public domain versions of Forth for most major chips. -- Walt Pohl (Haverford College) UUCP: {rutgers, uunet} !cbmvax!vu-vlsi!hvrunix!wpohl BITNET: w_pohl@hvrford, or walt@brynmawr

Oct 1982 was when FORTH Dimensions magazine, the bi-monthly publication of the Forth Interest Group ( PO BOX 8231, San Jose, CA 95155 ) first published a VAX assembly listing for FIG Forth ... it's currently available from their library of source code listings for $15 in the U.S., item #527 in their catalog at the above address. If Forth 83 is more yer bag, Dr. C.H. Ting has implemented Forth 83 on Vaxen and published the source for the primitives in his _Forth Notebook, Vol. 2_, Offete Press, 1306 South B Street, San Mateo CA 94402 ( $25 ?) VAX assembly source for FIG Forth can be downloaded from the East Coast Forth Board, 703 442-8695 300/1200/2400 24 hrs under the title VAXFORTH.ARC Join your local Forth Interest Group and you won't have to ask these things one *USENET*!
