Several people responded positively to my offer to form a mailing list for sharing information about, and possibly coordinating work on, the public domain Forth for the Amiga by Peter Appleman (A4th). Consequently, I set it up. To subscribe, send mail to amiga-forth-request@sugar.uu.net (uunet!sugar!amiga-forth-request) with a subject line or first line that starts with any case of "join", "subscribe", or "add". To unsubscribe, "unsubscribe", "quit", "unjoin", or "stop". (If smart mailers can get through to you, this'll probably work. If not, get your siteadmin to send in your site's map entry!) A4th can be uploaded via anonymous FTP from uunet by people on the Internet (/amiga-sources), and by uunet uucp subscribers via uucp. The uucp commands look like: uucp uunet!~/amiga-sources/a4th.readme ~/a4th.readme uucp uunet!~/amiga-sources/a4th.update ~/a4th.update uucp uunet!~/amiga-sources/a4th.zoo.uu1 ~/a4th.zoo.uu1 through 6 (remember, no wildcards) After a bit of cleaning up, documenting and bug fixing it will be released through comp.sources.amiga and comp.binaries.amiga.
