I'd like to present a proposal for a project involving the Harris RTX2000 chip. I'd like to use FORTH throughout the software. I have worked with FORTH on my own on small projects, but I don't know how to handle it when more than one person is working on the project. I'm a hardware engineer with very little formal software education. My preferred languages are FORTH, C, and assembly. I've read and reread "Starting FORTH", "Thinking FORTH", and "Mastering FORTH". Although they all talk theoretically about large projects involving more than one person, I found no examples of how to organize and manage such projects. I'm used to the UNIX and MPW programming environments, however I'd like to do things with simpler (and less) tools than those environments normally provide. If you know of any literature that contains information about organizing, designing, and managing multiperson projects using FORTH, please reply to me or post in this news group. Also, if you've been successful at "selling" the concept of FORTH to your co-workers and managers, I'd like to know how you did it. Thanks.
