I'm considering to use Forth as the programming language for some
embedded systems, but since I've never used Forth I've got a few
questions
1) A good book about Forth to determine if Forth is the
language I need.
2) Is there some implementations of Forth for z80 and/or
8051 family that can be used in embedded systems. I
would prefer PD but ....

Subscribe to FORTH Dimensions magazine for a good selection of ads about what's available in microcontroller Forths commercially. You could always port your own ROMmed forth from an extant PD system.
