Well, the first problem with adventure authoring is determining a language and syntax. Speaking as a timid adventurer, and having read some books, the language of description is the booger. I need a project, one that will help me learn forth. Somebody else come up with an Adventure description language, I will work on it. Somebody help with collaboration (sp?). My only condition is that we agree on a standard of forth that is transportable. I'd hate to bust a butt and find out no one else can run my software. Or that the half of the code runs on my machine, the other half runs on someone elses, but not on mine and vice verse. Well I said my only condition, I lied. When do I find the time to work on it?
