[] Someone posted earlier about the 'fact' that there are no professional quality programs written in forth. Well, this guy has not looked hard enough. Have you ever heard of StarFlight from Electronic Arts (available on the IBM PC)? I have heard that it was written in forth. Guy M. Kelly, Bill W. Kelly and I (Kirk A. Baker) wrote an 'electronic blackboard' program for the IBM, Amiga, Macintosh, and Atari ST in forth. It is to be PUBLISHED very soon now. I wrote a semi-professional paint program for the Amiga in JForth for my graphics class at San Diego State University. I am giving it away as public domain to anyone who wants it (along with another megabyte or so of code that Bill and I wrote in JForth for the Amiga). So, don't tell me that forth programmers don't have the needed energy to write complete and user friendly programs. I know Forth and 'C' is no Forth. I always choose Forth over 'C' when given the choice. Kirk Baker, Bonehead Research.
