I have heard that there is an ANS group looking at the subject of
Stream I/O and I have seen mention of interest from others in
implementing Streams on top of the File I/O layer. What then are the
keywords for the Stream layer?
The Stream Layer really should include:
IN ( --byte)
OUT ( byte--)
INPUT ( addr,u--)
OUTPUT ( addr,u--)
for starters. Other views?
