Well, DDJ has just about ceased to be useful for anything. You KNOW its
bad when Waldenbooks and B. Dalton both stop carrying the thing. I
still buy copies of it, because I need certain things that are
advertised in it, not because I care about the articles anymore. As far
as professional work being done in QuickBASIC, my WeatherBase terminal
program is written almost entirely in compiled QuickBASIC 4.0.
WeatherBase is a project to provide text and graphics weather info to
ships via broadcast radio.
