I used to subscribe to a magazine called Robotics Age about 5 years ago.
The editor was Carl Helmers, former BYTE editor. I had about 12 issues
 but they have gone missing.

Does anyone know if this magazine is still publishing?

Does anyone local to me have back issues that I might borrow for a short
period of time [ Karl? ].

Are there any other magazines being published on Robotics?

Try 'Robotics World', a publication of Communication Channels, Inc.
sorry, I do not have the address. I'm sure 'Publications in Print'
at your campus library will have it.

Robotics Age magazine gave up on the personal robotics field and changed
into a trade magazine for industrial robotics. They only have articles
now on which welding robot you should buy for your car factory in
Detroit.... nothing useful or interesting, unless you make cars.
Too bad... they were a good magazine for a while. I even advertised in
the mag a few times, but all the magazines that I know about suffered
the same fate as most robot companies- there were lots of buyers looking
for something to spend their money on, but nobody could really provide
what people were looking for. A very frustrating situation for people
like me who were trying to sell things.... customers waving money at me,
and robot companies were going out of business faster than I could send
 out catalogs....

Tell us more, Malcom. What were (are?) you doing with robotics.

I'm curious as to what your robotics related products were. Would you
 care to share your experience?
