Hi! There! I'm planning to use the forth language to control a tiny robot. If anyone of you have the experiences about that. Could you tell me some advices? Thanks in advance!!! Live long!!! Prosper!!! Sincerely Barry

ANTIC magazine did a series on robot control via FORTH a few years ago. It was specific to the Atari and utilized jumps to assembler but the principle is of some interest, I suspect. If you are interested, BITNET me and I'll try to dig out the reference. Good Luck, Andrew Fant FANT@BGSUOPIE Disclaimer: None. I don't tell BGSU its policy and they don't read or comment on my professional journals.

My officemate Mike Saari (saari@eng.sun.com) has been programming robots in Forth for some time. He used to work at Androbot before it folded. Recently, he won first prize at some robot race competition, using his (Androbotic) Topo robot with ultrasonic sensors and Forth navigation software. He is currently building a new robot with some people from the (I think) home brew robotics club. It will be controlled with 68HC11 chips programmed in Forth. Mitch
