Position Description:

        HARRIS SEMICONDUCTOR has an 
        immediate need for an experienced
        FORTH Programmer. This postion will
        support the Harris RTX 2000 and 4000
        micro-controllers for real-time
        programming applications.  Both
        internal and external applications
        support will be required including
        customer interface, occasional
        travel, and engineering support.

        This is a hands-on position and will
        require hardware skills as well as 
        programming abilities.  You will 
        participate in development board
        concepts and potential compiler 
        activities which presently include
        "C" and "ADA" support.


Requirements:

        Minimum BS degree; CE, EE, CS.
        Experienced FORTH programmer;
        Real Time Control Systems or DSP
        Programming experience a plus.
        Preference given for programmer
        with hardware experience.  Other 
        languages a plus ("C", "80X86", etc.)
        Development Environment includes both
        UNIX (SUN workstations) and PC based
        platforms.  Uniquely Qualified New College 
        Grads. will also be considered.
