 Some of the words that I've seen bandied about here concerning
  "put the cursor" and "find the cursor" are superscillious.
   Why, oh why, can't we all remember that we need to keep things simple?

   May I suggest     XY     to put the cursor,   and 
                    @XY     to fetch the cursor.......
  Please, these are both traditional and simple.
