ForthNet@willett.pgh.pa.us (ForthNet articles from GEnie) (08/23/90)
Category 18, Topic 51 Message 8 Tue Aug 21, 1990 W.FEDERICI at 20:04 PDT I can provide you with a ROMable 32-bit 68000 version of Laxen & Perry's F83 and a version of their metacompiler which runs on the IBM-clone version F83. You'd just need to code the i/o routines. The disk block handlers can be omitted, or used with a so-called "serial-disk" -- that is, a suitable terminal emulator (also available) can feed blocks on demand over the same serial i/o path used for the console. This Forth is not clever, modern, or especially fast, but it works for me. - Wilson ----- This message came from GEnie via willett through a semi-automated process.
