From now (10-18-90) a fast portable FORTH for every 680x0 is available as a freeware program. It is called F68K. It is VERY new and not very extended yet. The extensions are thought to be made by the users and published here or via the author. Features: - System image portable to any computer without reassembling on the target machine. Only a simple, system dependent loader has to be written. - Creates 680x0 native machine code - Uses a 2k-blockfile system. The filesystem is FORTH only, no underlying OS is necessary. - Kernel written in assembler - Includes L&P-assembler, some tools and simple full screen (80x25!) editor. To be extended in near future. (by You?) - Loaders for Atari GEMDOS and Amiga (not completed) exist. Mac in work. - System and (english) Documentation grow from day to day. - fits on 2 720k DOS-disks (now).
