This is my first post so please bear with me if I make any mistakes...
I'm presently working on a project which has introduced me to Forth.
I got the idea from the instructions with an DA converter I'm trying to
use that Forth was the best language to use with ports. Also a
disk was enclosed with Lexicon demo programs (Lexicon is based on
Forth-83 by the documentation). This disk could do straight voltages
or ramped voltages, and also has a Wave function!
But I need a to simulate a sine wave generator out of this port,
and Lexicon doesn't produce sine waves... I've tried interlibrary loan
for some Forth books; but so far I haven't found any that go in depth
on port usage.
If someone could advise me on a good book to use or perhaps an FTP
site to look at I would truely appreciate it!!!
I am presently using F-PC version 3.5, and I have reproduce some of
Lexicon's commands but not all of them... If anyone knows how I could
get hold of the Forth definitions of these commands that would be a
great help also!
