Somedays you just can't win... <sigh>o
Thank you for line crud and/or system loading. I notice all five messages I
posted today look like they were produced in a psychodelic haze (Just
guessing, folks - don't jump to conclusions).

The one thing I _MUST_ correct is the address for TCJ.

  The Computer Journal
  P. O. Box 12
  S. Plainfield, NJ 07080

  phone - 908-755-6186

Let me stress that Chris wants very much to support Forth at a grass
roots level. He canNOT do so without articles. It is imperitive we
maintain a presence in this journal if we hope to reach the serious
computerist who is not involved in embedded systems at a professional
level. The audience includes people who are otherwise invloved in all
manner of computing and are hungry for information. They do not read
Forth Dimensions, Embedded Systems programming or JFAR. We reach
here or we miss them entirely.

Several of you have spoken (or typed) to me about an article you had
written or started, but felt there was no place to submit it.
YES ! THERE IS. Now, do it. Chris can be reached here on GEnie if
you want to sound him out first.

I will second Gary's call for Forth articles and mention that I check in here
about twice a week. From the letters and calls I receive from TCJ readers, the
demand is there for Forth information. What we need now are good, varied
sources. Many times one good article will spawn several following as people
try out the concepts presented and find other uses for them, or even better
ways to tackle the problems. This is good as it 'builds the breed.'

One thing that makes this journal somewhat different than most is that it is
not dedicated solely to one target group. People from other computer
disciplines will read your articles, making TCJ a good place to reach out
across the walls we tend to build around us.

So, if you've been inclined to write about what you know, I am interested in
hearing you. My GEnie mail address is C.MCEWEN, or you can reach me here, or
at the address and telephone number given above.
