[comp.lang.forth] ANS Commitee - A Standerd or not

NER034@PRIME-A.TEES-POLY.AC.UK (01/31/91)

We have agreed to have a new standard. Indeed we must have shown willing
otherwise ANSI would not have agreed to it. Yet we always appear to be
questioning what the ANSI committee are doing. This indicates that we have
no faith in the system. As such the standardisation effect should cess.

Now, personally, I believe that standardisation is a good thing, and we should
leave the committee to get on with it. We will have a change to make comments
etc. when it gets to the dpANS stage.
