In the article Ray says: "Other than APL or FORTH, C is the ultimate shortcut language" Other interesting statements: you must be "in the mood" to deal with shortcutting in C. "You must put yourself in the mood to appreciate such goodies (shorcuts and trick coding) or you'll spen all your time wondering what this or that exression means." Amen I'll take explicit expression anyday. The above seems to be the "academic" way to shortcuts and trick coding where as FORTH is a practical way... Clyde It is possible to hide data in FORTH and C but Both can also hide ALGORITHMS! -Clever Programmer
