(I have a theory that these three preferences are genetically linked. Do you like rollercoasters also?) But seriously, I am interested in implementing Forth on a small (possibly home-built) microcomputer for experimenting with some real-time control applications and purely as a programming exercise. Without getting too involved in the ongoing discussion of the merits of various implementations and standards for Forth, I would like some information on the "most standard" standards to be used as a base system and some common extensions used for this type of application. I would especially be interested in documents (e.g. the '83 standard) available in archives via anonymous ftp. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. -Jon -- Jon Ferro Transportation Modelling Research Center jrferro@gaak.lcs.mit.edu "We can hack it!"
