[comp.lang.forth] WANTED: Expert system in FORTH

G.Moretti@massey.ac.nz (Giovanni Moretti) (04/17/91)

I recall an expert system (shell?) developed in forth being referred
to ages ago, called FORPS or something like this?

Does this ring any bells and is it available?

Thanks
Giovanni

Yes, it does ring a bell, and I believe it's avaliable. I've seen it on
various bulletin boards (The East Coast Forth Board, which from what I've
heard is now defunct), and I think (?) you can get an F-83 implementation
from the Forth INterest Group. I think even I have a copy somewhere, but
its for F83 with no documentation, and it's in an old pile of floppy disks
for the IBM-PC. If I remember correctly, FORPS stood for something like
Forth Production System.
