That's because the features the TC has added were added because numerous
people have asked for them.  If the ayes outvote the nays by a substantial
majority, the ayes win.

Oh, no, now Brad is starting to use silly overstated analogies too.

The new optional features in ANS Forth add considerable value for the
people that need such features, and detract hardly at all from those
who do not need them.  I don't see how this is even remotely comparable
to killing people.
