Minimalists ARISE !!! also - any interested in writing for efficiency rather
than flair :-)
Thursday, June 21, 1990 at 2130 (9:30pm) Eastern Time, Frank Sergeant will
be our real-time conference guest. Frank is a regular participant in the
affairs of the GEnie Forth RoundTable, but this is his first opportunity to
go on public record with the why and wherefor that first prompted him to
create 'Pygmy' (available in the library)
Pygmy is a minimalist's delight. It was originally modeled after cmFort,
but as Frank has added improvements the heretage has become less obvious.
JUNE 21, 1990 9:30pm Eastern, 6:30pm on the West Coast.

Jan Shepherd has graciously relinquished her June 20 guest conference
date to make room for us to host a conference with Sergei Baranoff of
 the Leningrad Institute of Technology.
Sergei's topic will be "Computing in the Soviet Union" and will
include discussion of the 16-bit Forth engine developed there, and
the Soviet/American engineer and student exchange program.

Jan has been rescheduled to appear August 15. Her topic continues to
be "PR: Promoting Forth and the Forth Interest Group"

The July 18,1991 GEnie Forth RoundTable guest will be Marlin Ouverson,
editor of the Forth Interest Group's publication, 'Forth Dimensions'.
Marlin's topic will be "Beyond the Forth Dimension".

Folks interested in Forth related Object Oriented Programming will really
appreciate our September and October schedule.

The September 19, 1991 conference will feature Bob Loewenstein of Yerkes
Observatory, who has acquired non-commercial rights to Neon and renamed
the reincarnation of this Mac based Object Oriented Forth 'Yerk'.
Bob's topic will be "Exploring Yerk".

Our guest October 10, 1991 will be Jim Callahan, president of Harvard
Softworks. Jim's topic, "OOP in Harvard Softworks Forth" will produce
the second half of our OOP/OOF pairing.
