Anyone want to see a ``So Bad its Good'' kinda movie?
Try _EraserHead_ (1978 Dir: David Lynch, B&W, 90 min).
Capsule review: weird, Weird, WEIRD!
Review: This movie is truly strange. I happen to like fairly
bizarre flicks --_Liquid Sky_ is one of my favorites-- so I thought
I'd give _EraserHead_ a go. Yipes! was I in for a surprise. I
think it has got to be the strangest movie I have ever seen.
Aliens ``mate'' with humans producing offspring who look like John
Belushi's (sp?) brother on a bad acid trip. Mousy women give birth
to little critters who look like a scalped version of ET. Asteroids
float through space ominously. Many strange dreams. A radiator which
emits a pulsating glow. Mysterious postal deliveries. Much flowing
of body fluids, alien and otherwise. Mounds of cream-of-wheat.
Illicit affairs in a jakuzi full of milk. Song and dance by a bleach
blond chipmunk. Dinner at mom's.
In short folks, this one has got to be seen to be believed.
