Hi: I got the L&P F83 and use it on my Sun 386i. I keep the following files in disk d: f83.com kernel86.blk meta86.blk cpu8086.blk extend86.blk when I fire the f83, and open the meta86.blk as following: D:f83 OK open meta86.blk OK 1 load 3 . . . 21 FCB unavailable Abort, Fail? What is the FCB? I also run the above procedure in the 286 clone computer, and got the disk d: error message. I check the programs by using crck4.com and confirm that all the files are right. Does someone can tell me how to solve the above problem? Thank in advance! Yin-Chih Lin KX10LYC0%TWNITRI1.Bitnet@CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU

Try it from disk A:, it was designed that way. *Old* Forth system, but sweet. -- # jax@well.{UUCP,sf.ca.us} # # Member, # # Chapter Coordinator, # # well!jax@lll-winken.arpa # # X3J14 TC # # Forth Interest Group # # JAX on GEnie # # for ANS # # P.O.
