[comp.lang.forth] Help for meta86.blk on L&P F83

KX10LYC0@TWNITRI1.BITNET (06/11/91)

Hi:

I got the L&P F83 and use it on my Sun 386i. I keep the following files in
disk d:

   f83.com
   kernel86.blk
   meta86.blk
   cpu8086.blk
   extend86.blk

when I fire the f83, and open the meta86.blk as following:

   D:f83
   OK open meta86.blk
   OK 1 load
       3
       .
       .
       .
      21
    FCB unavailable
    Abort, Fail?

What is the FCB? I also run the above procedure in the 286 clone computer, and
got the disk d: error message.

I check the programs by using crck4.com and confirm that all the files are
right.

Does someone can tell me how to solve the above problem?

    Thank in advance!

	...

Try it from disk A:, it was designed that way. *Old* Forth system,
but sweet.
