[comp.lang.forth] How to create tag file for Forth under Unix?

Hi:

   I have a lot of Forth source codes and resided on many directories, if I
want to find the definition/constant/variable among them, what should I do?

   I use the Sun SPARCstation 2.

   I had seen that the Unix 'awk' can perform the above function by creating
a 'tags" file (but for C program), then using the 'vi -t definition' will
edit the file which 'definition' be created.

   Any suggestion/help is highly appreciated.
