[comp.lang.smalltalk] wanted: information about "Creating a User Interface ..." book

Does someone know if the book "Smalltalk-80: Creating a User Interface
and Graphical Applications" has been published? It would appear so, since
the back of "Smalltalk-80: The Language and its Implementation" lists it as
being available from Addison-Wesley. However, I have been unable to find a
copy, in a bookstore, or anywhere else. Thank you very much.

No, it has not been published yet. The only information I've gotten
from Addison-Wesley is that the book is scheduled to be published in
1986, but that no printing date has been set.

[ Couldn't find a copy of
_SmallTalk-80: Creating a User Interface and Graphical Applications_ ]

The book is hard to find because Addison Wesley *hasn't* published it yet.

I have a understanding with one of the local book stores to check with
AW every few orders to see if it has been published, and if so,
to re-order my copy.

Until then....

If you are interested in the MVC paradigm, there is a book...

Cox, Brad J.: Object Oriented Programming
	Addison-Wesley, 1986
	ISBN 0-201-10393-1

...Chapter 9 of the book, "Iconic User Interfaces", describes
SmallTalk-80's Model View Controller stuff.

Note: I haven't read this book myself, only heard references about
it on the net and from friends.
