[comp.lang.smalltalk] Object Oriented Languages

kevin@mucs.UUCP (01/30/87)

I'm interested in experimenting with some of the object-oriented extensions
to LISP that currently exist.

I know of : LOOPS, Flavours, Oaklisp, ...

Does anyone have any information (definitive refs etc.) on any
languages you think I'd like to know about.

More urgently, any information as to getting any such system that can
be run on a VAX or Sun with 4.*bsd would be *very* gratefully appreciated.

I'm currently using Smalltalk-80 and would also be interested in hearing
about any other non-Lisp based OO languages.

(Aside: Does anyone in the U.K. have copies of things like Common Loops or
are we genuinely suffering from a DOD embargo?)

Many Thanks,
