[comp.lang.smalltalk] Macintosh Smalltalk0.3 Keyboard Configuration

ranson@crcge1.UUCP (04/02/87)

I am looking for a way to modify the keyboard configuration in Smalltalk0.3
for the Macintosh. I would like to get some characters (like the underline _)
that are not normally generated (This key yields the left arrow). I tried to
hack the character string that is a class variable in InputSensor. I does
allow me, for instance, to change a B to a C, but I can't seem to get new
characters. Any suggestions?

I'm reposting this to the mac group, since it wasn't, and I think the
methods/problems have had discussion here....
