[comp.lang.smalltalk] Constraints, anyone?

gore@nucsrl.UUCP (04/30/87)

Back in 1979, Alan Borning published a very neat constraint-driven
object-oriented system called ThingLab. I haven't seen any indication of it
being widely used, though.

Has anybody out there used ThingLab? What were your impressions? Did you
find any problems with it that prevent you from using it regularly? If so,
are the problems with the implementation or with the paradigm itself?

How about other languages that utilize constraint-driven programming, has
anybody had any experience with them? (They don't have to be Smalltalk-based.)
