[comp.lang.smalltalk] Journals? Reviews?

MunchMunchMunch....

Despite increasing discussion of Smalltalk in various language-oriented
magazines and AI publications, I have never seen any reference to a
journal of Smalltalk specifically or even object languages in general.
Does such a thing exist? Does it review hardware and implementations
as well as being a forum for techniques? Pointers to on-line conferences
would also be welcome.

On a related subject, has anyone recently published a comparison of
Smalltalk development systems? I'm specifically looking for comments
on the Tektronix 4400 series: it looks awfully expensive, especially
compared to ParcPlace on the Mac II, but then again it *weighs* twice
as much (I *hate* flimsy hardware!) and I wonder if it's more robust
in other ways as well?

I'm new to this group, so please excuse me if this subject was only recently
beaten to death; it doesn't show up in the backlog that I can access from
here.

Many thanks -- Pc^2
