----------------------------------------------------------------- At the suggestion of my thesis advisor, I am making available the code for a project which I wrote in Smalltalk-80. The classes in this code define a type of geometric pattern called Arc-Patterns and a graphic editor which enables the creation and manipulation of these patterns. Anyone interested in the design of repeating patterns, or Smalltalk applications in general, is encouraged to use, criticize, and improve this code. The project was done at the Univ. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and the code can be obtained by "anonymous ftp" to a.cs.uiuc.edu. The directory /pub/patterns on that machine contains the necesssary files. There is a README which explains how to install the code.
