Hi folks,
this is an update & response about my Smalltalk/V Mac goodies. For all of
them, I will be happy to share the code with folks when they are near some
usable state. Please send me input if you have any.

1) Music applications: I have done extensive work with music and Smalltalk
over the last four years. This includes the 'SoundKit' and noted by Kurt
Hebel, as well as MIDI and note schedular classes that made their way into
early versions of the HyperScore Tool Kit from Steve Pope. I am not in
the process of re-desiging my original work and bringing it into
Smalltalk/V.

2) Orgnizations are getting to be done. I've had to abandon my hope of
making my organization browser be a subclass of the normal Smalltalk/V CHB
browser, as the later wasn't designed to be subclassed (note that the
other browsers in the system are NOT subclasses of it!). This is making
it take a bit longer to do they system. Thanks for the comments from
people: I like the idea of having some organizations added for you! As
for 'private' messages, note that this is convention, not part of the
formal definition of the language: it doesn't prevent you from sending
these messages, it only warns you that there is really good-n-dirty stuff
there :-) !

3) I have a whole bunch of little fixes to the text-editing on the Mac for
Smalltalk/V. These fix things like when line selecting, not getting the
first character of the subsequent line, and clicking on the far left not
inserting spaces and leaving the insertion point in space.

I'll be posting these things soon...
