[comp.lang.smalltalk] Metrics for OOP

goss@ese.essex.ac.uk (Gossain Sanjiv (5N.7.10)) (05/08/89)

I am interested in finding out if anyone has any knowledge
as to whether any work has been done on Software Metrics
*specifically* related to Object Oriented Programming?
This includes any type of metrics, such as measurement of
stability, information flow ...etc. I have all the references
for Metrics for "conventional" programming, but none
for OOP. Has a study ever been done?

OBJECT ORIENTED METRICS :

Last week I posted a notice asking if anyone was
doing any, or knew if anyone had done any research
on Software Metrics specifically related to Object
Oriented Programming/Languages.

Only one reply!!

Does that mean that *no-one* else is doing anything
in this area??

Please e-mail me anything you know.

Thanks.
