MUHRTH@DB0TUI11.BITNET (Thomas Muhr) (08/17/89)
Two drawbacks of SmallTalk seems to be the memory-based architecture (every- thing used has to enter the image and occupie RAM) and the difficulties for more than one programmer or user to share resources without the danger of intrusion into the others workspace. Are there any solutions to these problems ? Maybe some interface between ST and conventional database-systems (an ISAM module would be sufficient for us). Please comment on this. Thank you very much - so long - Thomas
