Does anyone out there have any experience with Digitalk's Smalltalk V for the Presentation Manager ? I just saw an ad in the latest BYTE. It looks pretty nice (like all ads!) but on the steep side ($495 list). /Ashok Nadkarni

I recently got a coupon from Digitalk for a free upgrade to Smalltalk V for Presentation Manager. What I found most interesting about this new version is that it allows the generation of compiled, stand alone modules. Apparently, for them to run, you need runtime libraries, but there is not royalty for distributing them.
