Has anybody out there done any work on using proportional fonts for Smalltalk/V? (For that matter, has anyone defined any font bitmaps other than the two which come with the system?) As far as I have seen, Smalltalk/V provides only rudimentary hooks for integrating proportional fonts into the interface. Besides, I seem to remember a posting a few months ago that claimed that part of even those rudiments was erroneous. If anybody has attempted this and has experiences (and perhaps even code) to share, I'd be greatly interested.
