Was anyone else blown away by a song entitled "Bits of Paper" by the former Sam the Shammer Percy Faith? Has anyone heard the album? As long as I'm in the asking mood, are there any DK freaks out there? Something about manic, frantically paced, paranoid music warms my heart... "Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables" tickle anyone? How about "Woman" by Anti-Nowhere League? "Hatred" by Tonio K? "No Feelings" by the Pistols or Bananarama? How about your favorite line from a song?

{ } Tonio K! Yea! I love Tonio K! H-A-T-R-E-D is marvelous...I think the best part of the song is: I wish I was as mellow as, f'rinstance, Jackson Browne, but "Fountain of Sorrow" my ass, motherfucker, I hope you wind up in the ground! The other one that I love off that album is The Funky Western Civilization. Actually, though, he has one marvelous song from, I believe, his follow-up to the album "Life In The Foodchain" called "Amerika" which is called "Cinderella's Baby." Well, I could go on all day, but I think I'll just sit back 'til the government falls. -- "Baby, don't leave me here alone. Peter Merchant Don't break our happy home. Think of the children. I know we haven't got no kids, but Baby, if we did, it would surely upset them." -- Tonio K

ALL RIGHT! I was wondering if anyone else out there had ever heard this one, or of Tonio K (Steve Krikorian) at all! (Has anyone noticed how much Wang Chung's "Dance Hall Days" borrows from TK's "The Funky Western Civilization"?) > How about your favorite line from a song? How about "I wish I could be as mellow/As for instance Jackson Browne/But 'Fountain of Sorrow' my ass, zbgureshprxe/I hope you wind up in the ground!" (from the aforementioned "H-A-T-R-E-D") or "You just grab your partner by the hair/Throw her down and leave her there" (from TFWC)? Andrew W. Rogers ...{harpo|ihnp4|ima|esquire}!inmet!andrew
