I need some help getting Smalltalk/V running on a 386 machine that is using the 386-to-max memory manager version 4.08. The 386 has 4 meg of memory installed. I am unable to find the appropriate options for 386max in order to get the test286 program to complete successfully. It errors out when testing memory. Does anyone use this memory manager in conjunction with ST/V? Is there a better choice of a memory manager to use with ST/V? Any suggestions are welcome. V286 requires extended memory, and I think that 386 to the max emulates expanded. Just configure memory as extended and do not use a memory manager.
