I'm working on a project about 'using object oriented languages to create interactive graphical input modules'. Can anyone point me to publications in this field ? I heard that most modern user-friendly 'graphical environments' (such as GEM, WINDOWS, etc.) were realized with object oriented tools. In short, I'm trying to find out why that is so.
